Today turned out to be a beautiful Fall day for a race. I left the house around 7 to drive to Schenectady's Central Park where the Start Line for the Mohawk Hudson River Marathon is. I ran into Brian, Melissa, Lisa, and Larisa.
I finished in 4:41:48 (average pace of 10:47). My splits where 2:08:00 (1st Half) 2:34:30 (2nd Half). I had hoped to finish in under 4 hours 30 minutes, but still not a bad time.
I'll have work on pacing myself better. John was near the finish and ran the last .1 mile or so with me which put a little pep in my tired legs.
