Bowden completed the very hilly 8.4 mile course in 1:22:46. This was the first year for myself and Pacers Betty and Sharon. Coach Lichu and Paul have run this race many times.
Bowden also ran with his daughter Emma in the 1-mile Family Fun Race.
Race the Train is a unique race in upstate NY. Runners and spectators board the train at Upper Hudson River Railroad in North Creek at 8AM and ride to the start line at Riverside station in Riparius. Runners get off the train and race the train back to North Creek. The course is a challenging course with many hills that is part road and part trail.

This year the train made it back to the station in 1:08:42. Perhaps I can beat it next year!
