A To Do List for 2009

A to do list from our running coach:

  1. Stay healthy both physically and mentally before you begin the intense training schedule.

  2. Build up your base slowly. Never rush or hurry. "Haste makes waste."

  3. Strength train to increase lean muscle, improve your running speed, and prevent injury.

  4. Do Yoga or Pilate to improve your flexibility, balance, core strength, and prevent injury.

  5. Always ask questions if you have any concerns.

  6. Listen your body. Rest is good if you came down with a cold or your body is tired. "Less is more."

  7. LSD - Long Slow Distance. You must run slower on your long training runs.

  8. Enjoy and appreciate the opportunity to train and train with others. "Nothing is Impossible."


You will be so amazed that all things are possible.
